Ahmad Al Saif is a Saudi professional photographer who specializes in travel and culture photography. His infatuation with photography started in early 2007 when he was only 20 years old. He started experimenting with photography using his father’s compact camera at first. He then bought his first DSLR camera in 2009 and started professionally taking photos for Saudi’s local communities and cultural heritages especially his home City, Al Hasa. Ahmad considers photography an integral part of his identity.
Alsaif’s sense of exploration for different cultures ignited in 2011 and he has been travelling around the world since then to capture various cultures and customs. He visited more than 20 countries that expand from China in the East to Cuba in the West and from the Festival of Colors in India to the Omo Valley tribes in Africa. His passion for travel photography motivated him to cofound “Wojhah” team, which arranges photography trips for other photographers to visit different parts of the world. He has organized more than 25 trips to 13 different countries with a total number of participants reaching 75 photographers.
Ahmad’s excitement to pursue and highlight the lives of unforgettable people and moments is infinite. However, Seeing those less fortunate people led him to be more invested in humanitarian works. He has volunteered with the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, KSrelief, in numerous relief campaigns serving five different countries, including Pakistan, Sudan, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Jordan.
Ahmad has over 13 years of photography experience. Much of his work has been showcased in multiple local and international photography exhibitions. He was granted a total of 70 international photography awards and received two medals from the International Federation of Photography (FIAP-A and FIAP-B). He was also assigned as a judge in a number of local photographer competitions and one middle east circuit.
