Speedlight Masterclass

22 Nov 2018 @11:00 - 19:00

Portrait Photography Workshop

This masterclass is ideal for portrait photographers of all abilities who want to improve and develop their skills in portrait, event and corporate photography. During this workshop, you will build your knowledge of Speedlight and flash lighting and how to master the potential of your Speedlight flashgun.

A creative and dynamic full-day workshop designed for portrait, event and corporate photographers as well as serious amateurs. This course is perfect for those who want to develop their knowledge of Speedlight and flash lighting.

Using a flashgun or Speedlight can be a daunting task for any photographer. The massive range of functions available on modern flashguns can be confusing and frustrating and many photographers struggle to take control of this fantastically creative piece of equipment.

In a practical classroom and creative location environment, you will have the opportunity to learn from award-winning photographer, Rick Friedman. This workshop is limited to a small group so you can learn in a fast-paced setting and gain your confidence. Once you have mastered one speed-light, you will be able to move on to two and even three or more lighting sources, to create dramatic images worthy of a professional portfolio.

Whether you are a professional or amateur, the Speed-Light MasterClass will significantly expand your knowledge of lighting as you learn how to utilise speed-lights creativity. You will not want to miss this workshop!

The workshop is a practical shooting class with models. We will start with a single speed-light, and progress to multiple lighting setups, using different light modifiers adding colours and patterns, additional portable lighting systems and gels and colours
