The photographs in this essay represent stories that should have never developed the way they did and yet somehow they keep resurging. They impart the violence we created, but the Others endured. They intend to reveal the magnitude and the reach of each of these individuals in their struggle and how history like democracy is being twisted to serve the financial and economic hegemony of the West.

The connection between humans and wolves goes back 10s of thousands of years when early humans began to domesticate wild wolves. Why is that? Why are domestic wolves, dogs, so widespread throughout the world? The bond between humans and dogs is unlike any other in the domesticated animal world. We allow them into our homes and part of the family, as protestors of our children or guards for our livestock.

September 11th was a life-defining day for the world, especially for a freelance photojournalist Ron B. Wilson, who lived within walking distance of The World Trade Center. After receiving a call from a fellow photographer who worked for a newspaper saying the news was reporting a small plane crash at the north tower, it was his first instinct to run towards the towers with the first responders as everyone else ran away.
