In 1986, the first generation of Chernobyl was created. Responding to the accident, enduring the evacuation, containing the radiation by building the sarcophagus, they were duties to them. No one complained. No one withdrew from the hardship. Their children became the second generation of Chernobyl.

At the age of 27, Florian Ledoux quit everything in his life to live his dream; A strong appeal toward Arctic wildlife and photography. Ledoux sailed 6 000km from Greenland over the course of eight weeks to Nunavut in order to explore and the document the Arctic Wildlife. This became the opportunity to create an image that would change the rest of his life. Yo Soy Fidel follows the cortège of Fidel Castro, former Cuban revolutionary and politician, over a period of several days in late 2016. American photographer Michael Christopher Brown leaned out of a rear passenger window of his passing vehicle in order to photograph Cubans waiting alongside the highway for Fidel’s military convoy, carrying his cremated remains from Havana to Santiago, to pass.

Day to Night Evolution

Anything one can imagine one can create. Over the last several years, photographic technology has evolved to a point where anything is possible. I imagined changing time in a single photograph. Using this new technology, I’ve been able to express this fascination through a series of photographs: Day to Night. I photograph from a fixed camera angle continuously for up to 30+ hours, throughout the Day to Night. A select group of images are then digitally blended into one photograph, capturing the changing of time in a single frame.
