“Iconic” brings together Steve McCurry’s most memorable pictures taken around the world over the last 40 years. These images tell stories which cross boundaries of language and culture.
Steve McCurry's photography is grounded in finding the perfect momentum, with a combination of light, composition, and tonality that conveys humanity at the core. His portraits of children, and animals, his images of burning oil fields in Kuwait, and landscapes like icebergs in Antarctica, or the gigantic baobab in Madagascar, invite the viewer to travel into the elsewhere and educate us about our collective responsibility to protect our environment for the future generations.
This exhibition is a retrospective of the history of our time and tells that no matter how divided our world is, strength, generosity, and resilience keep us together.
