She’d just faced in court the previous day, the man who accidentally shot her thus rendering paralyzed from the waist down. While in court she told the man she forgave him. روكسبوري، ماساتشوستس: 14 نيسان/أبريل 2006: الطفلة كاي لايغ - البالغة من العمر 5 سنوات- تشاهد التلفزيون في بيتها بمدينة روكسبوري، حيث كانت في المحكمة اليوم السابق لمواجهة الرجل الذي أطلق النار عليها خطأً فأصابها بالشلل في الجزء السفلي من الجسم، وأعلنت خلال الجلسة عن أنها تسامحه، ليخفض رأسه ويتنهد بعمق عند سماعه ذلك. ©إسدراس إم سواريز
